Updates

New agent, MFK sold out, Chasing Eden screening, and stand-up gig!

Guess who has three thumbs and just signed with Berman/Sacks Talent Agency across the board. THIS girl! ….wait, how many thumbs? I’m super excited to be represented by Lisa Berman and feel like a lovely new chapter is beginning!

If you’ve been trying to get tickets to Marry, F***, or Kill on Goldstar, you may have noticed that EVERY SHOW HAS SOLD OUT! What?! Yes, it’s been an amazing experience. Only 4 shows left! 🙁

Tonight I head up to Valencia for the screening of “Chasing Eden”. It’s my first feature length leading dramatic role and I’m excited, terrified, and a little nauseated…

And lastly, on May 21st at 8pm, I will be performing for the first time ever at the Comedy Store! Tickets are $10 at the door and as I’m still young in my stand-up career, I’d LOVE to have all the support I can get!

Oh man! So much to share!

Wow, it’s been far too long since my last post. And I have so much to share with you!

1) The trailer for the feature, Chasing Eden is finished! Wanna see me take on the drama? Check it out HERE!

2) I’ve just been cast in 2 plays! The first is called Marry, F**k, or Kill. It was performed in NYC to rave reviews and we’re putting it up here in LA! We open April 13th. More details to come! Check out the TRAILER from the New York show!

3) I’ve also been cast in a new play called “Wrong Way, New York”, dierected by Eugene H. Butler. I’ll let you know show dates soon!

4) I just took a stand up comedy class and LOVED IT! I am doing an open mic this Saturday. I’m not telling where, but I’ll let you know how it goes. 😉

5) I’ve also been singing out at open mics. Last month I sang at Cabarabia, hosted by Clifford Bell and I’ll be hitting up any open mics I can find with a pianist or jazz trio! So much fun!

Pulling Leather

I had a great time in Pulling Leather and can’t wait to do another comedic role like that. So much fun! I didn’t even know I’d been missing the instant gratification of a live audience. What a blast!

Chasing Eden wrapped!

I’ve just wrapped on the feature film Chasing Eden, a dramatic feature following 2 teenage girls, Elise and Layla as they struggle to navigate their unstable lives. I play Lillian, Elise’s suicidal mother. It was a challenging and dark role and while I’m sad to say goodbye to the fantastic cast and crew, it’s refreshing to take a breather from Lillian’s world.

Special thanks to the amazing group of people involved, especially my talented first time director and screenwriter Laura-Claire DelGrippo. Look for more fantastic things from her in the future. Also to Chelsea Van Duyn, the talented young actress who played my daughter. Check out still from the shoot at http://chasingedenfilm.weebly.com/multimedia.html

Stay tuned for more Chasing Eden updates!
